Cotton candy machines have been inconsistent and rowdy for most of their existence, but then that improved after WWII when Gold Medal introduced their unique cotton candy generator, which had a spring foundation that lowered the loudness of the cotton candy production process. During the 1970s, the cotton candy machine got another update. This is when the first cotton candy machine was invented. Not only could this machine manufacture cotton candy mechanically, but keeping a backup also became possible.
