For a holiday in the sun, you have so many options. The beaches there are as picturesque as Boracay’s, with many land and sea activities that beg to be enjoyed. It rings true to the motto: it’s more fun in the Philippines!

As summer is slowly approaching, we have prepared a list of beaches to visit here in the Philippines! Keep reading to find out more!

  • El Nido

The Best hotel in San Juan La Union is not something you can look for in El Nido, that’s for sure! However, what we’ve got is EL Nido, one of the best beaches not just in the Philippines but worldwide. It’s ranked four (4) on Nast Travelers’ “20 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World” list. There is no more perfect place than El Nido for a nature-linked commune. El Nido boasts limestone cliffs and turquoise waters and lies on white sand beaches, ideal for a commune with nature and a multitude of activities to do.

You can also go kayaking, cliff diving, and island hopping in El Nido.

Take note that there are many ways you can get to El Nido! From Manila, you can go to El Nido via AirSwift, El Nido Resort’s charter airline; it offers several straight flights to El Nido from Manila and takes only one (1) hour.

  • Bacuit Archipelago

One notable beauty there is the Bacuit Archipelago! It has a golden marine sanctuary and remains home to heavenly beaches, emerald lagoons, limestone outcrops, and karst rock formations. You can explore this island on an island-hopping day trip by sea kayak.

Secret Beach, in particular, on Matinloc Island, is accessible. You can reach it with a swim-through gap. On the other hand, Cadlao Island is also a treat for those who like snorkeling. Its Ubugon Cave is a treat for those who love to snorkel.

  • Santa Fe

In 2013, Bantayan Island was hit by Haiyan, a typhoon. Nowadays, though, tragedy has left the island. For those on an island getaway, Santa Fe is a must-visit beach. It has white sand, and you can go to Sandira via a motorbike taxi. With its lovely visuals, street market, and history, there is no reason why you cannot ignore this beautiful island just nine (9) miles ahead of Cebu!

  • Bitaog Beach

Bitaog Beach is a rare treat. It is not the worst thing in the world, either. Instead, it’s a stunning paradise and remains a hidden beach detached from the hustle and bustle of the city. Powdery white sand, a serene ambiance, a sense of seclusion, blue and clear aquamarine water, magnificent rock formations, and more natural beauties are part of what Bitaog Beach offers!

Need a swim? Want to lay by the sand? Or do you want a snorkeling session? If you say yes to any of these, Bitaog Beach is the one for you!

  • ABCD Beach

Calicoan Island boasts of ABCD beach – one for the boarders! The beach is named after the four (4) reef breaks along the coasts. Between June and October, many surfers come here, drawn by the glorious reef breaks around. Although its shoreline is relatively untouched and undeveloped, it has a few restaurants and surf schools to help visitors refine their surfing skills. Out ahead is the Pacific Ocean, beyond the reefs of ABCD Beach.

  • Wrapping Up

It’s more fun in the Philippines! And that statement rings more accurate than ever, thanks to these natural beauties of beaches we’ve got here. There are a lot more beaches around the Philippines than Boracay. It’s about time we explore them, too!
